This food is a quest item. That means it gets removed from your inventory when you Ascend, so you can't just pull it and eat it when you start your new run. You can still pull the ingredients, but it'll cost you 2 pulls per omelette, plus whatever you use to cook the finished product(s). Devious. Secondly, based on the food's description test, some folks were speculating whether or not it gives you more stat points depending on the phases of the moons.
