In order to smith items, you must have a tenderizing hammer in your inventory. A tenderizing hammer allows you to smith one combination at the cost of one adventure. Post-ascension, if you choose a Muscle-based Zodiac sign, you can visit Innabox, who will smith items for you without spending your adventures. Unfortunately, he cannot smith anything that requires Super-Advanced Meatsmithing or Armorcraftiness.
