Some monsters in KoL are zombies. Zombies are usually undead.
Some equipment and effects give the enchantment "+X% damage vs. zombies", which makes zombies take an appropriate amount more damage from physical attacks:
- Braaaains Over Braaaawwn +50%
- Inner Dog +50%
- Sword of Procedural Generation +30-140% (for some people)
- Unkillable Skeleton's sawsword +50%
- Curse of Impotence -50%
With a fishin' pole in your inventory, all zombies have a chance to drop a wriggling worm.
The combat item half-rotten brain does not actually check for this category. It seems to have a hard-coded list of what it works against.
