crystal orb of spirit wrangling
This is a round sphere about the size of a tennis ball, with one hemisphere fashioned from the purest, most flawless quartz crystal, and the other hemisphere made of a rich, dark red jasper. This sort of magical orb is commonly used to store some manner of ghost or spirit until it's needed later.
Don't worry, I'm sure it's very nice in there, and not at all like being forcibly trapped in a tiny featureless prison.
