This is a phone used by the Mob Penguin Sopranos to call in thug penguins to do their bidding. And much like in a combination auction-house and kickboxing arena, their bidding is typically extremely violent.

When Used

• After NS-13:

	You make a call. You hear mostly static, but catch the words "... Tony? Tony, (static) -at you? We're bein' overrun down here. We (static) 'em off -- can't let (static) -et to the core!"

• During the Storm era:

	You make a call. The phone rings a couple of times, but then you hear what sounds like a clap of thunder, and it disconnects. Crazy weather.

or

	The voice on the other end says "Guino, can you hear me? This storm is causing all kindsa interference. Can you hear me now? Good."

or

	You hear mostly static, but catch the words "... Tony? Tony, (static) -at you? We're bein' overrun down here. We (static) 'em off -- can't let (static) -et to the core!"

or

	You hear nothing but crackling and popping. "Aww, snap," you think to yourself.

• Between the Temporal Rift era and the Storm era:

	You make a call. A voice on the other end of the line says "What? You want somebody beaten up? Is this a test, boss? You said we should act like we're totally legit now. Er... wait, who is this? Prank caller! Prank caller!"

• After the Temporal Rifts closed:

	You make a call. A distant, eerie voice on the other end of the line says "Where are we? And what the hell is up with all of this mist?"

• Against another Mob Penguin (during the Mafia era):

	You make a call. A Mob Penguin Thug drives up in a black car. He gets out, takes a look at your opponent, turns toward you, and breaks both of your knees. Ouch!
	You lose 87 hit points.

• Against a non-penguin opponent (during the Mafia era):

	You make a call. A Mob Penguin Thug drives up in a black car. It grabs your opponent by the legs and shakes them until a bunch of Meat falls out. You gain ? Meat.

• Can also be obtained by using a Frozen Mob Penguin.
• Formerly dropped at The Icy Peak during the Penguin Mafia era, also dropped in the Icy Peak in The Recent Past during the Temporal Rift era.
• On June 18th, 2007, item began to be dropped at The Grim Grimacite Site.

References

• The "where are we/mists" text is a reference to the episode of The Sopranos "Pine Barrens" where Paulie and Chris get lost in the woods while chasing a Russian mobster.
• "Prank caller! Prank Caller!" is a quote from the scene in Pulp Fiction, during which Vincent Vega calls his heroin connection, telling said connection he's coming to his home with a girl who's overdosed. Vincent's connection yells, "Prank caller, prank caller!" presumably in a half-assed attempt to throw the police off in case they were listening.
• The usage message about crackling and popping is a reference to the Rice Krispies (Rice Bubbles in Australia) cereal slogan: "Snap, Crackle and Pop"
• "Can you hear me now? Good" was the catchphrase for a series of Verizon telephone commercials. [1]
