- Phileas Fogg was the main character in Jules Vernes' novel Around the World in 80 Days; the fact that 80 is the required amount of drinks needed may also reference the same novel.
- The image filename (just_like_tara_reid) is a reference to the short-lived show Taradise on the E! network, which followed model/actress Tara Reid as she drunkenly partied in various cities across the globe.
