Any ideas on what this does yet?

familiar actions

I could have sworn that my Whirling Maple Leaf was restoring both MP and HP before I drank some maple syrup. After I drank the syrup, my Leaf only restored my MP. Can anyone confirm this phenomenon, or is it just my imagination? -- Nekobawt

Data

Weight and mp restored

  1. 5
  2. 6
  3. 7
  4. ?

With several attacks for each that did return mana and no variation in the data and the clean linear fit to the data it is fairly clear that MP restored = weight + 4. --Shagie 12:57, 25 Oct 2005 (MDT)

  • Seems to be the same so far for me (1 and 2 lbs), however, concerning the damage: When he was 1 lb, he always hit for 2 damage (might've been coincidence though), but at 2 lbs, he hits for 1-3. I'll keep checkin'. Anyone mind adding more data?

Update: Uh-oh. It's not weight +4, at least not all the time. Mine's 3 lbs at the moment, and restored me for 6. So, uh, I guess it's X+3-4. Aaaaaaand now it restored 5. Grah. Methnor 07:50, 27 November 2005 (Central Standard Time)

Testing with a 19-lb. Maple Leaf showed MP recovery between 12-21, so it's obviously not level + 4. Wild guess at the formula: ((weight * X) + Y), where X is a random percentage in some range and Y is a static number (probably 4).--Discordia 14:29, 22 March 2006 (CST)

Has anyone done any reasearch on its damage average? -GG Crono 18:55, 26 May 2006 (CDT)

Some further testing shows that the MP restoration seems similar to the Ghuol Whelp, but since it doesn't heal as much, it's difficult to verify. Damage is a little more concrete, although again, it's low percentage of activity is particular hard to use in verification of formulas. Note that these were taken on a day when there was no moonlight whatsoever.--Foggy 11:54, 4 August 2006 (CDT)

aboot

Aboot must be a reference to south park, where all canadians get laughed at 'cause they can't pronouce about. Am I Right? Kewangji 08:30, 18 August 2006 (CDT)

  • No, it's just Canadians, who pronounce about funny. Eh? Mrtimoftimiii 09:01, 18 August 2006 (CDT)
  • Both this and South Park are making fun of the same aspect of Canadian dialect. That's not a reference, it's just a coincidence. --Jonrock 12:38, 18 August 2006 (CDT)

I don't believe it restores HP

I've been using the Maple Leaf for awhile now and I really don't think that it restores HP it never has for me anyway, perhaps it restores HP on different days or for different classes... Anyway I just think someone should clarify because the stats are definitely not 35% for mana and 25% for health because I've gotten hundreds of mana restores and no health
