Bruise's skin turns dead black and almost seems to boil as it sprouts dense, oily hair. He grows to twice his original height, and his elbows grow an extra pair of forearms as his fingers elongate into jagged claws. You can hear the vertebrae in his neck snapping as his head twists sideways, and one of his eyeballs migrates to the other side of his mouth with a sort of wet glorp sound.
