This is a glass of the Penguin Mafia's favorite cordial. It's made by grating up a herring and letting it ferment in alcohol, then adding sugar water and reducing it a little. The best part about making herringcello at home -- besides the fact that there's always room for any kind of 'cello -- is that it's pretty hard to screw up: if it tastes a little fishy, you're doing it right.
