Non-Standard Elements
Non-Standard Elements are not considered true elements, as they are dealt only by certain monsters (and never by players). In addition, these monsters have no weaknesses or vulnerabilities to any other element (whether standard or non-standard), although some of them are vulnerable to certain types of attacks.
There are currently three non-standard elements: Bad spelling, Shadow, and Slime.
Bad spelling
Bad spelling damage is dealt exclusively by the monsters in The Valley Beyond The Orc Chasm, with the exception of the rampaging adding machine. There is no way to deal, resist, or otherwise prevent it, but you can do a great deal of damage to the monsters by using a dictionary in combat.

Cute
In the Future, the Supreme Being creates this new element, and you can collect its essence. No creatures actually deal cute damage, however.
The bewitching boots have a "Slight Cute Resistance" enchantment, which appears to do nothing.
Shadow
Shadow damage is dealt exclusively by your shadow, which can be found in The Sorceress' Chamber. There is no way to deal, resist, or otherwise prevent it.

Slime
Slime damage is dealt exclusively by the monsters in The Slime Tube. There is no way to deal or otherwise prevent it, but certain items and effects can give you Slime Resistance.
