Combat Messages
- Regular messages:
- <name> begins chanting, and you feel some of your power move from you to him.

- <name> dances in a circle. The air briefly glows octarine.
- <name> grins, and you catch a whiff of Ovaltine.
- Without enough MP:
- <name> looks at you with a disappointed frown.
- With lucky Tam O'Shanter equipped:
- <name> casts a spell to dislodge some additional meat from your enemy.
- With miniature gravy-covered maypole equipped:
- <name> busts a disturbingly erotic move around the maypole. The air briefly glows octarine.
- With wax lips equipped:
- <name> smiles extra wide with his wax lips. He looks so cute you could just strangle him.
Notes
In The Cake-Shaped Arena, the Pygmy Bugbear Shaman uses no MP's, so the tiny nose-bone fetish is useless here.
References
- In Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, octarine is "the color of magic", an eighth color of the visible light spectrum that can only been seen by magic users (such as wizards and witches). Maypoles act as a sexual symbol there (and here), which disturbs some of the Discworld's inhabitants.
