Combat Messages
- Regular messages:
- <name> stabs you for X damage.
- <name> attempts to stab you, but misses.
- <name> stabs <him/her/it/them> for X damage.
- <name> attempts to stab <him/her/it/them>, but misses.
- With lucky Tam O'Shanter equipped:
- <name> drives its tail deep into your slain foe's wallet.
- With miniature gravy-covered maypole equipped:
- <name> does a very unsafe dance around the maypole. You can't dance if you want to.
- With wax lips equipped:
- <name> grins a bloodthirsty, untrustworthy grin with his wax lips.
Notes
- In The Cake-Shaped Arena the Stab Bat never stabs you, so the shock collar may be useless here.
- Ascending with a 20-pound Stab Bat makes you eligable for the Slice and Dice trophy.
Arena Messages
- When entered in a game of Hide and Seek:
- <name> has no interest in hiding. <name> only has an interest in stabbing things.

- The miniature gravy-covered maypole combat message refers to the 1982 song "Safety Dance", by Men Without Hats, in which the line "we can dance if we want to" recurs. The fact it says you can't dance if you want to may refer to the Unsafe nature of the Stab Bat.
