The Mysterious Island in the As-Yet-Unimplemented Future

Having travelled through a mysterious temporal rift on a mysterious island, adventurers found themselves in a strangely different world. Though the gographical features of this new area were similar to those of the Island, much was different about the locations.

The entire island was covered in Scorched Earth and The Hippy Store, The Orchish Frat House and The Hippy Camp were nothing more than charred rubble.

An fairly unaffected area was the cove at the south of the island. Mysteriously, whatever caused the island to be full of scorched, cannonball-like indented earth, didn't affect the cove.

The pirates that were once in the cove seem to have left. Mysterious.

Realising nothing was there any longer, the adventurers returned through the rift and returned back to the present time. Leaving the futuristic island behind.
