- The Vorpal Blade appeared in D&D and then in NetHack, where the ")" symbol was used to represent weapons dropped on the ground. In either instance, the Vorpal Blade is notorious for beheading, delimbing, or otherwise mutilating one's enemies.
- Vorpal Blade also appered in Final Fantasy I, Wich is Found in the first Level of Mirage Tower, With an Ap of 21 and a Hit Percentage Of 25%.
