- Regular messages:

Notes
- X in the damage message ranges from (N+1)/2 to N+1, where N is the familiar's weight.
- Y in the MP restoration message ranges from (N+5)/2 to N+5, where N is the familiar's weight.
- In both, fractions are rounded down.
- The familiar will attack roughly 25% of the time, and restore MP roughly 35% of the time.

- The ability to restore MP by sprinkling you with maple syrup may be a reference to the game Paper Mario, in which Mario can heal MP by drinking maple syrup.
