The top High Socialization-message right now reads "Oh no! <name> fell onto into a bad crowd and came out a bad end. The specifics are too depressing during tell you." I suspect the contributor had a certain sword equipped... --Yatsufusa 16:05, 25 December 2012 (CET)

Is it just me, or are Chibibuddies broken in that choices usually don't change stats anymore? --WUM80M4N 9:54, 22 Febuary 2021 (EST)

"Oh no!" in red?

Forsythe pointed out that the "Oh no!" in the ChibiBuddy™ death messages is red in the actual game. While colors are somewhat rare in KoL, I'd like to color them here as well, but there seems to be a little disagreement on that topic. Are there reasons to keep the text plain black, that I can't see right now because my nostrils are full of mucus? --Yatsufusa 08:29, 22 December 2012 (CET)

Topics

You spend a few minutes talking with your ChibiBuddy™ about whether <topic>, doing push-ups while you wait for him to process each argument you make. By the time you're done, you feel a little cooler, wiser, and stronger.

Are we keeping a list of topics yet? I just saw "[...] about if there really are any "unfilmable" books, and if so, what some examples might be, doing [...]". Also, looks like "whether" there is actually part of the topic. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 23:14, 27 December 2012 (CET)

Not sure if we are or not, but I'd like to add "about whether a browser-based role-playing game can be successful without selling advertising or aggressively shaking down its player base" to the list --Chyld 19:06, 28 December 2012 (CET)

There should be a list! I mean, if we've listed out all the potential combinations in Hodgman's <random nonsense>, we can at least list all the chibibuddy topics (there might not even be that many). The one I just got is: "...about why nudity is such a taboo, but violence is a-okay in entertainment..." So the "whether" is definitely part of the <topic> and not the message, because as we've seen it can be "if" or "why." I've corrected the wiki page for this. Cone of Cold 02:04, 1 January 2013 (CET)

Names and Images

I added the formula I derived for how a ChibiBuddy™'s image number is determined. Please note that this formula only works perfectly for the "C0 Controls and Basic Latin" Table of Unicode characters -- "non-character" characters screw up the count if you go too far down the unicode table. --Cannonfire40 07:10, 28 December 2012 (CET)

Entertaining/Feeding etc

I noticed that none of the choices are the same as my chibi. It has, say, "Play a hilarious party game" as the first choice in Entertaining. Should we keep note of the options? Also, should we keep all the texts for the options? — Cool12309 (talk) 20:31, 31 December 2012 (CET)

Ascending

What happens to your chibibuddy when you ascend? is it reset? --Taltamir (talk) 06:56, 12 October 2018 (UTC)

If you ascend when its on, and try to use it next ascension, you get this message:

=

You go to use your ChibiBuddy™, but the batteries are dead. Man, how long was this thing left turned on? You switch it off and slip in some fresh batteries. =====

I don't know where that message belongs on this wikia --Arkcon (talk) 19:53, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
