References
- The filename, "jeff was right", refers to actor Jeff Goldblum, and more specifically Dr. Ian Malcom, his character in the Jurassic Park movie series, a mathematician specializing in chaos theory.
- This is a reference to the Butterfly Effect, which in Chaos Theory supposes that a storm in one part of the world could be caused by a butterfly flapping its wings across the globe.
- Stormbringer is also the name of the sword wielded by Elric of Melniboné, who had a long history with the lords of Chaos in the series of novels by Michael Moorcock.
- The trophy can also be a reference to the novel A Sound of Thunder in which Chaos Theory supposes that over time, even the most minuscule changes (such as the butterfly killed during Jurassic times in the plot of the book) can have unintended or unforeseeable repercussions in the future.
