Cold werewolf

You follow a path of frost-rimed tracks on the ground into a little clearing between the trees. As a cold werewolf leaps out at you, prepared to spill and then freeze your blood, you ponder the wisdom of following strange tracks out in the forest. |hit=He bites you with his icy fangs, turning the wound so cold it burns.
You step on a leaf and it breaks in half with a sharp snap, like it's frozen solid. Then you step on a dead squirrel and it does the same thing. Something's very cold has just passed this way, and you hope you don't encounter it. Then you run smack into a cold werewolf, and that's what you get for hoping.
He puts his claws around your neck and squeezes, giving you a frostbite necklace.
He makes a snowball with gravel in the middle and pelts you with it.
He scratches your skin with a claw, turning your blood to ice where he strikes.
He spears your sides with his freezing claws, pulls you in close, and freezes your head with an arctic howl. You feel frostbite bloom on the tip of your nose.
