This is one of the primeval, endlessly malevolent, fiendishly intelligent old gods from before time and space as we know it existed. Currently, it's employed making cookies for Linnea's Crimbo takeover. I guess it's a good way to pass the time between driving mortals mad with one peek at your frightful visage.
Hit Message(s):
It buffets you with its unearthly wings. Looks like it wants to live and let die. Happy Crimbo! Ooh! Argh! Ooh! Ooh!
It wraps a tentacle around your throat and squeezes until your eyes bug out. Happy Crimbo! Eek! Oof! Eek! Ugh!
It gibbers madly at you. You feel your grip on sanity start to slip. Happy Crimbo! Ugh! Ouch! Ooh! (spooky damage)
It whips you with its creepy tail. You can tell a creepy tale about it later. Happy Crimbo! Ow! Ooh! Eek!
It whips you with its tail, buffets you with its wings, wraps a couple of tentacles around your head and squeezes, all the while stepping on your toes. Yeesh! Oof! Ouch! Eek!
It gibbers madly at you, but you gibber sanely back.
It tries to buffet you with its wings, but you remain unbuffeted.
It tries to grab you with a tentacle, but you're not having any of that funny business.
It tries to whip you with its tail, but you distract it with a tale.
It stares at you, gibbering madly, its eyes boring deep into your soul, but you've been to enough comic book conventions that it hardly phases you. (FUMBLE!)

References
- The monster is a reference to the fictional god Cthulhu from H.P. Lovecraft's horror stories, which has a similar squid-like head.
- Its unearthly wings want to live and let die -- much like the rock band Wings, who recorded the theme song to Live and Let Die.
- This could also be a reference to the Ood from the Dr. Who episodes "The Impossible Planet" and "The Satan Pit," who also had squid-like heads. Also appearing in the episode was a being who said it came from "beyond time," which the Doctor found impossible to accept.
- As long as we're comparing visual examples, it also resembles the Mind flayer, a common Cthulhu-inspired monster; when they don't resemble a lower-case h, that is. Given the "primeval, endlessly malevolent, fiendishly intelligent old god" description, though, it's easier to simply point at Cthulhu.
- This thing also holds a lot of resemblance, more than visual to Ur, and Ur's followers, from the 8-bit theatre web-comic.
- This monster could also be a reference to the ancient god from "Hellboy", as well as the fact that the fumble message talks about comic book conventions, Hellboy was originally a comic.
