Back to Conspiracy Island Bunker
Located in The Conspiracy Island Bunker.
Each of the first 9 buttons corresponds to a "protocol", all of which are inactive by default. When any of these buttons is clicked for the first time each day, its protocol will be toggled:
- If the protocol is inactive:
- Command accepted.
- Experimental protocol activated.
- If the protocol is active:
- Command accepted.
- Experimental protocol deactivated.
Only one protocol change may be enacted each day. Subsequent button presses will produce the message:
- Experimental protocols require a minimum of 24 hours between adjustments.
The final button triggers the omega device.
- Clicking the Ω button at less than 100% power:
- Omega device not at full power.
- Current power level: X%
- Clicking the Ω button at 100% power:
- There is a flash of white light, and when it fades, you feel weird. Like you're simultaneously slightly younger and slightly older than you were a minute ago.
- Clicking the Ω button at 100% power but a radio quest is active:
- Mercenary op currently in progress.
- Omega device temporarily disabled.
Protocols
Each protocol has an effect on one or more monsters in The Secret Government Laboratory, summarized in the table below. Each protocol affecting a monster increases its HP, Attack, and Defense by 150. This is not an increase in Monster Level. They do not gain first-round elemental attacks, they do not gain damage resistance, and their experience is calculated as their attack divided by 4. If Monster Level were a factor, more experience would be awarded (and they would gain those abilities).
Additionally, monsters which are under the influence of a single protocol become unaffected by multi-round stun effects, such as a gas balloon, however, they can still be staggered. Once a monster is affected by two or more protocols, it then becomes stagger immune.
Protocol effects are cumulative. When all three protocols affecting a particular monster are active, its stats are increased by a total of 450 and it can drop its additional item as well as the airborne mutagen.
Omega device
- Each time a protocol is toggled (regardless of whether it was previously active or inactive), the omega power level increases by 11%. It takes 10 clicks (and therefore 10 days) to bring the omega device to full power.
- Sucessfully activating the omega device deactivates all protocols, re-enables the 30-Coins-spiracy radio quests, and resets the omega device's power level to 0%.
- The Omega device's power level is reset upon ascension, as are all protocols.
- Activating the Omega device and resetting the island after completing the daily quest and protocol activation does not grant another quest, or another use of the panel.
