You carefully peek into the skull-adorned tent to make sure no one's around, then scuttle inside. Like a crab. One of those little scuttling crabs.

You open the chest, revealing various bits of armor. Most of them aren't particularly useful to you, due to your lack of fins or tail, and the way your spine bends.
You do find a breastplate that looks to be in pretty good condition, though.

On the assumption that no one really needs that many spears, you take one for yourself.
