Category talk:Clubs
Took out some hit messages that are specific to the seal-clubbing club. I saw them when using that club as a new Seal Clubber, and added them to the weapon. Noticing them listed here, I ran a couple hundred battles with a multi using at various times a lead pipe, a flaming crutch, and a diamond-studded cane. I never saw these messages with those clubs. Equipped a seal-clubbing club, and the multi immediately got the "kiss from a rose" message. --Terion 04:19, 20 April 2008 (CDT)
Is the hit message about Tonya Harding a reference to anything? --Flandamnat 22:10, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
A Conspicuous Lack of Mace
I just happened to notice that the astral mace is not being listed on this page, however when I view the page for the astral mace, it clearly shows that it's a part of the club category. What's up with that? (I have not investigated into whether other clubs are exhibiting the same behaviour, primarily because if they are, there aren't links to them on this page :p )--Melon (talk) 14:16, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- I checked several listed clubs, and they all had Category:Clubs added manually. As near as I can tell, astral mace has the Clubs category automatically added by the item template instead. --Vorzer (talk) 15:23, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- You were right: Adding the category manually added the astral mace to this page. I think someone who knows what he or she is doing should have a look at this. --Yatsufusa (talk) 19:00, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
- It's not whether you specify the category manually or not per se---for some reason the categories in which an item is do not reliably update unless the item page is edited. Just editing the page and saving it (without making any changes) is sufficient to refresh things. --Fig bucket (talk) 19:05, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
