The chow mein dishes were some of the best foods in the Kingdom. They all required a secret blend of herbs and spices, dry noodles, MSG and two other ingredients. You needed Pastamastery to cook (or summon and then cook) the dry noodles and Transcendental Noodlecraft to use The Wok of Ages to create chow mein.
Generally, the tofu and pr0n chow meins were considered separate from the other chow meins, due to their lower fullness, lower stat boosts, and irregular recipes.

For a comparison of chow meins and other dry noodle dishes, refer to the recipe tables in Pastamastery and Transcendental Noodlecraft.
Notes
- Requires Transcendental Noodlecraft.
- Does not require Pastamastery to create chow mein from stir-fry.
References
- "Chow Mein" refers to "Stir-Fry Noodles" (炒面/炒麵) in Chinese, as well as dishes that contain them.
History
- On July 7th, 2015, all chow mein dishes were changed. Their ingredients became used to make items in the basic pasta set and require only Pastamastery to be cooked. Meanwhile all existing cooked dishes were replaced with their simpler versions from that set.
- Chow meins were later functionally replaced with the scrumdiddlyumptious noodles set, an alternative type of sauce dish which does not require wads like hi mein. These sauces use high level food drops instead of the wads.
- This may have been done to ensure that more scrumptious reagents were used up in cooking than before, making a larger trade-off between high quality food and the number of saucecrafted potions used.
