Crocodile Tear
You've got a temporary teardrop tattoo underneath your eye. It'll make you seem a lot more sympathetic, but only if you're submerged in salt water, because there's no actual salt in the tattoo, and people will know that the tear is fake if it doesn't look salty. If this seems like a stretch, narratively, that's because it is.
