Notes
- Used in the Dolphin King's Map Quest.
- Using the map and completing the Dolphin King's Map Quest does not consume an adventure.
- Originally, successful use of the map required the snorkel to be equipped in order to claim the Dolphin King's crown.
- With the release of NS13 in January 2007 and consequently the introduction of makeshift SCUBA gear, said SCUBA gear being equipped was added as an acceptable solution.
- In March 2009, alongside the introduction of Grandpa Sea Monkee, the aerated diving helmet was added as an acceptable piece of equipment for successfully using the map.
- At some point after this, but before January 2014, the conditions for successful use of the map were changed to be either having the snorkel equipped, or having any means of breathing underwater, equipment or otherwise.
- On 10 January 2020, the snorkel was (accidentally) removed as a means of successfully using the map.
- On 12 January 2020, the snorkel was readded as a means of successfully using the map.
- At some point on or before 7 Jun 2025, the quest was patched (possibly in connection to the introduction of the Hat Trick path) to theoretically accept either an equipped snorkel or a source of water-breathing as a valid solution, but due to an oversight, was in fact patched to require both an equipped snorkel and a source of water-breathing.
- On 10 Jun 2025, the above oversight was fixed, returning to the intended behaviour.
