- A tentacle erupts from the sea and pulls a crewman into the depths before anyone can react!
- A tentacle snakes out of the water and up into the crow's nest, knocking down <crewmember> before any a man can warn him!
- A tentacle whips across the deck, halving poor cabin boy <crewmember> before anyone can even shout "'ware the squid!"
- The squid's attack can be rebuffed by a bubble shield, however:
- A tentacle erupts from the sea and lashes at a crewman, but is rebuffed by the layer of bubbles protecting the ship.
- If banished, the message occurs that "You get the feeling that squids don't leave a place for very long." Banishment does not occur.
