In The Temple of Violence, Shine Like Thunder
You approach the massive doors of the temple, wondering if you should push or pull them to open them. I mean, you don't want to look like a loser in front of the Mer-kin. They've got handles rather than knobs, so maybe you're supposed to pull them? But then again, maybe the more badass move would be to slam both of them open simultaneously with a good hard shove...
Fortunately, you spot the hulking Mer-kin guards on either side of the door before you take any action. They respectfully bow to your gladiatorial self, waving bouquets of gladiatorial gladiolas your direction, then pull the doors inside.
The water seems to turn murkier as the evil within the temple sends out tendrils into the relative light outside. Clearly this is not a very nice place, even by Mer-kin standards.

You walk into the temple with your guard, your hackles, and the hair on the back of your neck up.
