You take a carriage to your rental castle. It's perched atop a forboding outcropping of bare rock, and has a perpetual lightning storm raging around it. So, y'know, exactly what you'd expect from a high-quality vampire outfitting service.
The horses tethered outside whinny in terror as you glide past them. Red-eyed wolves leap up to lick your hands before baying at the moon. A flock of bats swoops over the castle’s battlements, shrieking as they sail into the night. That’s enough ambiance for now, right?
As you walk through the huge iron portcullis into the courtyard, a voice says, "Welcome, Marthter." You look up to see your very own hunchbacked minion limping toward you! Man, these guys thought of everything. "All ith in readineth for you, Marthter. The experiment merely awaith your prethenthe and your word. But if you would prefer to relaxth firtht, your handmaidenth await you in the boudoir. And don't worry if maidenth aren't usually your thing; vampireth are a bit more flekthible that way."
