Item Duplication
Various methods in the Kingdom allow you to legally duplicate an (often pvp-stealable only) item. These can potentially be a profitable farming strategy. This page serves as a list of those.
Monster Drops
There exist two methods of drop duplication, doubledrops and itempasses. Doubledrops will not duplicate conditional drops, while itempasses repeats the entire item drop logic. These two methods can stack together. When an item "repeats the drop pool", this gives you another chance at each item -- it doesn't force all or nothing.
Method | Trait | Effect |
---|---|---|
Daily Affirmation: Always be Collecting | doubledrops | Doubles the drop pool from the current monster. |
Duplicate | itempasses | Repeats the drop pool from the current monster, repeats it a third time while in The Source (path). |
Spit on them! | doubledrops + itempasses | Doubles the drop pool from the current monster, and then repeats the drop pool. Requires a sufficiently spit-filled Melodramedary. |
Do an epic McTwist! | doubledrops | Doubles the drop pool from the current monster and increases item drop by +75% for that combat. Requires equipped pro skateboard. |
Two other methods of drop duplication exist, that exist outside of the doubledrops/itempasses paradigm:
- Emit Matter Duplicating Drones: automatically duplicates the next non-conditional item acquired at the end of combat. Requires a sufficiently experienced Grey Goose, but can last multiple combats.
- Feel Nostalgic: adds the drop pool of the previous eligible monster to the current monster. Stacks with everything else.
In addition, the various Pickpocket mechanics can let you get extra copies of items during combat. These stack with each other -- for example, you can pickpocket an item, then hook it, then septapus, then perpetrate mild evil, then swoop.
