Main Hall
Main Hall is on the Secret Tropical Island Volcano Lair (Sauceror).
Visiting without the Slimeform effect:
When trying to adventure here: You make your way toward the large double-doors leading into the main section of the building, but find your path blocked by several large dark-colored slimes, each of which has the word SECURITY painted on its front. From the way they're angrily shaking their pseudopods at you, it seems that they're not willing to start a big fight here, but they're certainly not going to let you through those doors either. You carefully back away before they get any of that stuff on you.
Visiting with the Slimeform effect:
You wobble up to the double-doors into the main convention center hall, and wait patiently in the queue. When you get up to the front, a Security slime looks you over carefully, then nods (or, well, tilts forward a bit, I guess) and lets you through.
The room is filled with rows and rows of large buckets lined up like chairs, facing a stage -- many of them are already filled with slimes, burbling excitedly to each other. Deciding to wait and see what happens, you pick a bucket near the back and pour yourself into it. Soon, all of the buckets are filled, and a hush falls over the crowd as a bright green blob slithers out to center-stage and taps a microphone: splop, splot. It burbles excitedly into the mic, then waves a pseudopod at a curtain at the back of the stage.
A wild cheer goes up as the curtains part and a wave of mottled brown ooze pours onto the stage. With a gasp, you recognize it as your Nemesis, Lumpy. It waves long dripping pseudopods in the air as the audience applauds. Looking around nervously, you wonder what you've gotten yourself into. You feel particularly uncomfortable, and not just because of this mess of a situation. It doesn't take you long to discover the source of your discomfort: this bucket isn't really big enough for your legs.
...Legs? Crap.
You tumble over sideways with a thump, and the crowd falls silent. Every (lack of) eye in the room turns to face you. Then, a burbling scream rings out, and the audience begins to panic and rush for the doors. Lumpy makes some loud angry noises into the microphone, and several of the Security slimes begin to quickly ooze toward you.

After defeating security slimes and Lumpy, the Sinister Sauceblob, but before equipping the 17-alarm Saucepan
A niggling voice in the back of your head (that's me) reminds you that you're heading toward what is likely to be the Final Battle against your Nemesis, and therefore you should probably equip that Legendary Epic Weapon of yours first. Just sayin'.
After defeating security slimes and Lumpy, the Sinister Sauceblob, and equipping your 17-alarm Saucepan
You don't see Lumpy anywhere backstage, but fortunately its trail isn't hard to follow -- even without the sludge, the smell would probably be sufficient. A stairway leads down into some basement corridors and storage rooms, and then to a large metal door that swings open to reveal a natural cavern. Looks like the chase is heading underground.
Soon, the cavern branches into a smooth, almost glassy-surfaced tunnel -- obviously an ancient lava tube. It appears that you're heading directly into the heart of the volcano. On reflection, this was inevitable, really. I mean, you can't just have a Final Boss Battle near a volcano. It would be like having a car chase in which the fruit cart doesn't get knocked over. Or fighting crime in a giant robot and never using Rocket Punch.
You wipe the sweat from your face as the tunnel ends at a massive lake of bubbling lava. In the distance, through the shimmering haze of the heat, you spot a small island. You can just make out the form of your Nemesis -- at this distance you can't tell what he's up to, but 'no good' is a safe bet. You'd better get there fast and put a stop to it, whatever it is.
You survey the little stepping-stones that periodically rise and fall in the boiling magma, and realize that this is seriously going to suck. In fact, this is going to suck so much that I kind of feel like I ought to apologize in advance. Still, it wouldn't be a final battle without an especially fiendish final puzzle, now would it?

Leads to A Volcanic Cave
After defeating Lumpy for the final time:
Since the lobby is closed, you can't get to the main convention hall either. Which, considering the state you left it in, is basically fine.
