When Used

  • If an item is stolen:
You stick out the crook, and by hook and by crook you hook an item from your opponent...
SomethingYou acquire... something. [[Data:{{{item}}}]]
Unfortunately, the crook brook in the process. By which I mean broke.
  • If an item is not stolen:
You try to hook something with the crook, but the crook gets stook in a nook.
  • If an item has already been successfully stolen:
You've already crooked this opponent -- you don't want people to think you're corrupt...

Uses

Notes

  • Has a chance of stealing an item from the monster, using rules similar to pickpocket (but not pickpocket-only items).
  • You may use the same crook repeatedly on the same monster, until it succeeds.
  • The crook is only consumed upon successfully stealing an item.
  • If the crook is unsuccessful, the monster gains a 100% hit rate on that turn's attack. Stun effects (such as entangling noodles) can still block the attack.
  • You can funksling two different crooks to speed up crooking with no ill effects.
