- The name of this effect is a portmanteau of prestidigitation and dysfunction. Prestidigitation is just a fancy way of saying sleight-of-hand, a skill readily employed by Magicians (hence the reason a prestidigitation dysfunction makes you suck so bad at Mysticality!)
- "You should concentrate and try again later" might be a reference to an answer given by the Magic 8-Ball, "Concentrate and ask again".
