The Arid, Extra-Dry Desert is located in the Desert Beach. It is unlocked after obtaining (and reading) Your father's MacGuffin diary (see the Quest for the Holy MacGuffin).

This version of the desert appeared when you were not Ultrahydrated. With the effect you reached The Arid, Extra-Dry Desert (Ultrahydrated) instead.

This zone was heavily revamped on October 29, 2013. Lots of noncombats were retired, new zone numbers, and more. This page is meant as an archive. See The Arid, Extra-Dry Desert to see the current version.

A primary stat of 135 is suggested. If your main stat isn't high enough, you'll see the following message:

The endless drone of locusts in the heat-shimmering air is silenced for a moment while a giant giant giant centipede rumbles by. This environment seems designed to kill you efficiently and painfully. You wonder if you can face it and leave alive.
(It is recommended that you have at least 135 <mainstat> to adventure here.)
