Talk:The Arid, Extra-Dry Desert (Dehydrated)
One day, I'll learn how to edit wiki pages.
Unsurprisingly, the Swarm of Fire Ants is fire damage resistant.
The Cactuary also drops handfuls of sand and cactus fruit (and isn't fire resistant).

Not ultrahydrated and tried for a clover adventure. Nothing. --Blastphemist 01:47, 4 July 2007 (CDT) Ultrahydrated, still no clover adventure. Gonna have to think there is no clover adventures in the Arid, extra dry desert. --Blastphemist 01:54, 4 July 2007 (CDT)
No special clover adventure--Flyinglama 20:02, 5 July 2007 (CDT)
Has any spading been done on whether Let's Make a Deal! is superlikely? I seem to find it within my first couple of turns in the desert, recently. --Pastangum 09:56, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
non combat adventures
all of the combat/one-time adventures only happen if you have the ultrahydrated effect active. --Flyinglama 22:52, 25 June 2007 (CDT)flyinglama
HP loss from the "Oh No, Not Raid!" adventure seems to be based on max HP. I adventured there with 73 HP max and only took 25 damage (buffed stats of 73/64/243, huzzah clover abuse on a multi).--Lokathor 05:41, 8 July 2007 (CDT)
Not Ultrahydrated Adventures
I noticed that the pages for the adventures that are unaccessable when ultrahydrated don't say so. Basicly all the non combat, (mostly negative) effect giving adventures
(The lack of) Minimum stat to adventure
I don't know what happens when you're Ultrahydrated, but for me, I got SO many bad effects before discovering the Oasis (looking for the trader) to the point where all of my stats were 1, and I can still adventure just fine. I don't think there's a minimum stat to adventure here.
- I have had the same experience so I'd say that the message about minimum stats is unneeded. However there is (hopefully) something preventing you from going there with teleportitis unless you have unlocked it... --Winterbay 09:26, 8 July 2007 (CDT)
Snarfblat
With ultrahydrated it's 123, but without it it's 121. --Blazingthunder 06:24, 5 August 2007 (CDT)
Trigger for last adventure
Jick said in the update including the last adventure that was triggered by activating the level 12 quest with no uniform.
- Went to the Council to initiate the Level 12 Island War quest. Spent 51 adventures in the desert without hydration; no uniform. Climbed the hippy tower in Frat Fatigues and started the war, then stashed all my frat and hippy uniform parts in my closet; on my 6th turn in the desert without hydration, got the hippy uniform. --Terion 07:22, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Say Cheese! adventure
I don't know if Say Cheese! is an ultrahydrated or dehydrated adventure (though my guess is dehydrated.) Until it's known for sure, I'm not adding it. - X1a4 00:04, 19 April 2008 (CDT)
[11329] Desert (Unhydrated) Encounter: Say Cheese! You acquire an item: anticheese You lose 50 hit points --Friederike 07:29, 19 April 2008 (CDT)
Worm Riding Pages
I've been getting the as drops from combats in the zone in quantities from 1-3 at a time. I haven't noticed if any particular monster doesn't drop them after Gnasir gives you the quest, and my impression is they all can drop pages, but of course, the page drop isn't guaranteed. --Noskilz (talk) 00:50, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
Revamp
I've run out of steam for the evening but suggest we archive the old version of this like we've been doing with a lot of other stuff. The old version/versions were technically different zones anyway with differing version numbers. Its a bit hard to know at the moment which pages have actually been checked and what hasn't. Is the old pasta guardian item still dropping for instance? Or is that gone too after the pasta revamp? Discordance (talk) 21:03, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
