You place the baboon skull on the ground and set about the business of reconstructing a museum-grade baboon skeleton, imagining the kinds of awesome jobs you'll be able to get with that line item on your resume.
You grab a fossilized torso, prop it under the skull, and arrange four limbs around it. You step back to admire your handiwork, but before you can properly take it all in, the bones fuse together and the baboon sits up, breaking free of its rocky bindings with a thunderous crack.
Since there isn't a fossilized Jane Goodall nearby, you're completely unable to communicate with the thing, so you can't understand the dusty "eek ook eek" noise it makes as it advances on you. Once it throws a punch at you, you understand perfectly.
Hit Message(s):
It absentmindedly scratches itself with one hand as it punches you in the <throat> with the other. Ugh! Ouch! Argh!
It produces a coprolite from somewhere and hurls it at your <throat>. Go ahead, look it up. We'll wait. Argh! Ouch! Ow! (stench damage)
It removes one of its armbones and beats you about the head and neck with it. Oof! Ouch! Ow!
It grunts as it kicks you in the <throat>. Ooh! Ow! Argh!
It beats its fists against its chest. That wouldn't be such a big deal, except it had your head in them. Ooh! Ouch! Ooh!

Notes
- Appears on use of fossilized baboon skull with enough of the appropriate bones.
- The bones are consumed upon successful use.
- Reanimated Skeletons are nearly immune to everything, taking only 1 damage from all damage sources, except pottery weapons. The trick is to use pottery weapons, or hit them with multiple sources of physical and elemental damage, doing enough damage each round to kill them before exceeding the combat round limit. Using a mechanic with Prismatic Damage helps, as well as adding Passive Damage defenses, a combat familiar, and/or attacks that hit multiple times each round, like a Turtle Tamer's -butt combos.
- Using pottery armor and weapons will provide extra protection and overcome this monster's damage immunities.
- Funkslinging a possessed tomato, Colon Annihilation Hot Sauce and/or two cans of sterno (or some mix of such) at the beginning of combat is a very good idea.
- Additional Monster Level should be avoided in this fight, since extra HP is the last thing you want them to have.
- Never misses.
- You can ignore every problem with killing this monster by just using any insta-kill attack such as The Bomb, major yellow ray or Carbohydrate Cudgel to defeat the skeleton and add teeth to your necklace.
- Even insta-kill attacks that normally destroy item drops, like the Pair of Stomping Boots skill Release the Boots, will work because the necklace/tooth effect is not technically an item drop
- Attempting to use a rusty bonesaw yields the message:
- You use the saw to try and remove some bones from your opponent, but the fossilized bones are so hard that it doesn't accomplish anything beyond dulling the saw.
- This monster cannot be wished for.
