You prop up the spider skull and neatly arrange a bunch of fossilized bits around it.
There's a crackling followed by a hissing, and just as you're looking around for some sort of a snake opening a bag of potato chips, you realize that the spider skeleton has come to life and is advancing on you, amidst a dreadful cacophony of clicking bones.
Why did you build this thing? Why?
Hit Message(s):
It jabs you in the <arse> with one of its sharp legs. Then it jabs you in the <arse> seven more times. Oof! Ow! Argh! Ooh!
It wraps you in a coccoon of caustic petrified webbing. It hurts so much you don't even have time to wonder how that could possibly work. Eek! Ooh! Ooh! Ouch!
It fixes a baleful gaze on you with its empty eyes. The extreme balefulness of the whole thing gives you a shiver in your <arse>. Eek! Ouch! Oof! Eek! (spooky damage)
It lays a clutch of petrified eggs in your abdomen, and a few minutes later a horrifying swarm of tiny skeletal spiders eats its way out of you. Ow! Argh! Ooh! Ow!

Notes
- Appears on use of fossilized spider skull with enough of the appropriate bones.
- The bones are consumed upon successful use.
- Reanimated Skeletons are nearly immune to everything, taking only 1 damage from all damage sources, except pottery weapons. The trick is to use pottery weapons, or hit them with multiple sources of physical and elemental damage, doing enough damage each round to kill them before exceeding the combat round limit. Using a mechanic with Prismatic Damage helps, as well as adding Passive Damage defenses, a combat familiar, and/or attacks that hit multiple times each round, like a Turtle Tamer's -butt combos.
- Using pottery armor and weapons will provide extra protection and overcome this monster's damage immunities.
- Funkslinging a possessed tomato, Colon Annihilation Hot Sauce and/or two cans of sterno (or some mix of such) at the beginning of combat is a very good idea.
- Another option for necklace seekers is the Pair of Stomping Boots skill Release the Boots, which destroys reanimated creatures (producing ectoplasmic paste). Because the necklace/tooth effect is not technically an item drop, the effect will happen as normal.
- Additional Monster Level should be avoided in this fight, since extra HP is the last thing you want them to have.
- Never misses.
- Yellow ray sources such as the He-Boulder's major yellow ray or Disintegrate bypasses damage resistance and drops teeth.
- Insta-kill items can also kill it immediately and still give teeth for your necklace
- This monster cannot be wished for.
