When Used:

With one deft flick of your sword, you end your foe's life. Again.

Against special undead monsters, including The Cyrpt mini-bosses:

You try to slay your foe in one hit, but it's a little too strong for that, and you end up just slicing it for 100 damage instead.

Notes

A Sword must be equipped in the mainhand to use this skill.
- Equipping an off-hand sword via Double-Fisted Skull Smashing will not work for this purpose.
- Iron Palms will convert swords into clubs, which will make this skill unusable.
Using Slay the Dead to kill a monster in The Cyrpt zones reduces Evilness in that zone by 1 each time:

Works against the Skeleton astronaut during a Kingdom of Exploathing run, as well as undead Dreadsylvania monsters.
