Enhance
Enhance provides immediate buffs. You begin with items.enh, meat.enh and init.enh and can unlock others. Duration starts at 25 adventures and increases to 100 with installed chips. You can get a buff once a day, plus once each with a CRAM or SCRAM chip installed.

Enquiry
Enquiry provides a buff at rollover. You begin with monsters.enq and familiar.enq and can unlock others. Duration starts at 50 adventures and increases to 200 with installed chips. Only one Enquiry may be active at any time.

Educate
Educate controls your access to the special Source Terminal combat skills.
- Your terminal begins with extract.edu and digitize.edu installed. The other four can be installed by using their corresponding unlocker (below).
- Once installed, a .edu file is eligible to be designated as "active" by educate. Only "active" .edu skills will be available during combat.
- Initially only one skill may be active at a time; this can be increased to two if a DRAM chip is installed.
(This is essentially a combat skill slot, with installed files being analogous to unequipped equipment.) Each combat skill costs 20 MP initially, but some will have their costs reduced as SPAM and ASHRAM chips are installed.

Extrude
Extrude provides items in exchange for Source essence. You begin with food.ext, booze.ext and goggles.ext and can unlock others. You are limited to extruding three items per day. Upgrade chips (those with a limit) are untradable and must be extruded yourself.

The terminal can also be upgraded by using various chips. These drop occasionally when Extract is used and can be bought in the mall.
