Well, it's a sword. Made out of steel. Double-edged blade, one-handed. Good for killing monsters with. Not so much for shaving. Oh, you could probably sharpen it up more, put a keener edge on it, and then technically you could shave with it, but it'd be really unwieldy. I'd stick to killing monsters with it, if I were you.
