Levels

Each level will have 3 random types of minion. There may or may not be a challenge non-combat in the level (usually at the end but not always). After level 3's minions (or miniboss) and challenge (if present) are completed you face a Video Game Boss.

Only one gate is open at a time, completing a level locks it and opens the next level.

Level names and themes are randomly generated, when a level is open the gate will be one of the following:

Items

The items that the monsters drop are determined by your walkthru which selects 6 from the following list. There are 2 items per level. A minion may drop 1 of each, and a miniboss 2 of each.

GameInformPowerDailyPro Minion Drops

Notes

  • All monsters are of the Constructs phylum.
  • All of the monsters are scaled to your level.
  • There are three separate zones, only one of which may be open at a time. Completing a zone (level) closes it, and opens the next one.
    • Completing a level of the dungeon may involve solving a puzzle, the solution to which is written in your walkthru. If you need to re-access your walkthru, you can use the following quest item which appears in your inventory while a dungeon is ongoing:
      GameInformPowerDailyPro walkthru
    • Attempting to adventure in a level after you have completed will result in the following message:
You already cleared out this area.
  • Once the final boss is defeated, the dungeon will disappear. You can generate a new one by reading another magazine.
    • There is no limit to the number you can open and complete in a day (Adventures permitting).
    • These dungeons run 20 to 30 Adventures: 7-14 (?) in level 1, 1-12 (?) in level 2, 2-12 (?) in level 3.
    • CLEESH will not advance the counter of defeated monsters.
  • Attempting to access the dungeon after it has disappeared will result in the following message:
This area is closed.
  • If a miniboss appears in level 2 or 3, the level it is in will not contain any puzzles or minions, but the other two levels will have more minions to balance that.
  • The items dropped will always include one food, one drink, and one weapon or helm, and these three categories will always appear in different levels. The equipment piece is chosen based on the character's level (1-4 (?) for level 1 equipment, 5-9 (?) for level 2, 10+ for level 3), so the upper level food and drink only drops in dungeons opened by a low level character.
