If the scorch marks a spot where something in the past happened, and finding the key now opens the rift and the scorch it would seem very logical that one has to do something in the past after examining the scorch oO --Floh 11:40, 25 January 2007 (CST)

My character hasn't ever ascended, and I see a Scorch, not a A Small, Bright Light south of the cemetary. --Stellaria 21:06, 25 January 2007 (CST)

• I'm guessing that A Small, Bright Light only shows up if you're level 4 or 5 when the rift would if you're ascended. I haven't confirmed this, but is it true that you're level 6 or higher? --TheDotGamer 21:12, 25 January 2007 (CST)
