Mr. Store Items
Since Ed is cut off from a player's permed skills, would it make sense to add a Mr. Store Items section, like on Avatar of Sneaky Pete/Strategy? Clan VIP Lounge key (speakeasy and hot dog stand), GameInformPowerDailyPro subscription card (or Xi Receiver Unit), Order of the Green Thumb Order Form, airplane charter: Spring Break Beach, airplane charter: Conspiracy Island, Chateau Mantegna room key and of course bottle of lovebug pheromones seem to be the only hardcore available iotms. --Yatsufusa (talk) 05:32, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
The Pirates of the Garbage Barges in Dinseylandfill seem like a good alternative to The Secret Government Laboratory - the monsters aren't as strong but assuming you leave the flashy pirate disabled they all drop 2 Ka base. --IMJack (talk) 21:56, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Level 12 Flyering
Interesting thing to note, and possibly spade: Using the cat is very suboptimal for flyering while UNDYING. Since things like deleveling stick across deaths, the monster is treated as whatever it was deleveled to when you return to the fight. So, if you, say, stall with dictionary, the cat will delevel them down to next to nothing + your ML bonus, and you won't get nearly enough credit. Best bet is to shelve your cat while flyering, and save yourself a fair chunk of turns. Lego6245 (talk) 13:55, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
Astral energy drinks
These are long gone from the game, so I removed the following text from the page. However, its a bit complicated, and well thought out, so I saved it here in case TPTB return "something" like an astral energy drink to KoL.
Ed gets mummified beef haunches which are much better than the astral energy drinks. The only benefit of the energy drinks is that they might save you a few Ka coins early in the run. But this only matters if you consume an energy drink early in the run, which reduces its turn generation, and leaves you with 2 points of unused Spleen. (You could buy 2 mummified figs to fill those 2 points, but that costs you 10 Ka coins -- not exactly a good trade-off.) Just pick one of the other options and stick to haunches.
