This is one of the 3 known boxes received by the crimbo mafia mob penguins when you use a "Fat Stacks of Cash" on them. Doing so ends the adventure. (1 adv)

More spading on my part (about 25 of these crates or so) has only gotten food and booze. My guess is that the rock is a mis-attributed item from one of the other crates. --Camperdave 09:27, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
I don't have a large enough sample size but this only dropped for me from after the third fat stacks of cash that I used, the first netted the sturdy crate and the second and third netted the dusty crate. --Chunky_boo 15:53, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

The crimbo crates do not appear to be zappable (I was hoping to zap a Battered into a Sturdy for a quick mall profit). Attempting to zap the Battered Crimbo Crate resulted in the message "The battered Crimbo Crate shudders for a moment, but nothing happens." --Method 07:15, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
