I'm assuming group monsters count as only one of the 10 uses per day, just that you can recruit a total of 10 times per day with it? --Jimfromtx 22:15, 3 September 2012 (CEST)
- Don't have the item, so I can't say from experience, but my understanding from the forums is that if you Bear Hug a swarm of ghoul whelps and gain 87 zombies, that's ONE use of Bear Hug. I've been wrong before though. --Johnny Treehugger 00:27, 4 September 2012 (CEST)

Is it worth noting that this can get around the monster type restrictions on what monsters can join your horde? I've managed to convert bugs, plants, and elementals with it whise in the desert, so I assume this skill can convert any monster type. Yoyogod forgot his password 22:55, 5 September 2012 (CEST)

- I've been getting the auto-kill/converts, but I haven't been getting the conversion of inappropriate phylum mobs. It gives the same kill message, but the "rises to their feet and shambles over to your horde" thing doesn't happen. Evilkolbot, What have you been attempting to bear-hug? If the mob is unable to be auto-killed it will do what you're saying, but if you're attacking normal mobs it appears you might have a bug on your hands. If you look at the description of your bear arms does it say (zombified) after the name?. --Serin 01:45, 6 September 2012 (CEST)

--Captain Kirk I think we should make a table of how many converts you get when using the zombie form of bear hug. For example the ants in the Arid Extra dry desert gave me 20 minions. Sometimes you get really unexpected numbers and a table showing all of the more than 1's would be great.
