Well, that's sort of odd. I don't see the box of hammers in my combat item list in an actual combat, yet I do see it in the combat item section and the item description lists it as combat/usable. Even tried equipping a Loathing Legion hammer just as a wild guess (going on the assumption of "monsters look like nails == use box of hammers"), but to no avail. I don't know why I was thinking this was a one-use-per-day item like the ball-in-a-cup, but for those who had the same brain-spasm as me: No, like most things, it is consumed on use. (How broken would that be if you could summon one of these on day 1 and have a extra 30 to all stats for every remaining day of the run -- without needing any more summons?) --Terion 01:42, 6 September 2011 (CEST)

I was able to use the BoH in combat, got the following result: You dump the entire box of hammers on your opponent. Each one hits him in turn, dealing a total of 455 damage. --CyberLizard 18:57, 8 September 2011 (CEST)
