I 116 muscle 84 moxie and was getting damaged for around 64 hp every time and was barely dealing 2 damage in return with an ancient spear. I was able to cast cleesh on him. Jlechem 17:05, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

As the Infernal Seals page says, try a club. Or a pike pike, if you have one. Also, I estimated him to be around 150 ML - it's not surprising you were getting hammered.--Ryo_Sangnoir 17:09, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

I tried to smack him at 159 muscle with thrust smack (no eye of the stoat, one handed club) and failed to hit. His attack may be 150, but his defense is much higher.

With 151 Muscle I only hit on crits and with 170 moxie he never hit me. Yvain 10:15, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

There seems to be a minimum elemental damage condition for the ingot of seal-iron. Was wearing the moist sailor's cap, star shirt, dual-wielding club of the five seasons, square sponge pants, and three of the +11% item drops war medals, for a total of +10 prismatic damage and an extra +20 stench. I fought a couple of Centurions without an ingot in my inventory and they didn't drop. But then I put on a couple of Really Expensive Jewelrycrafting rings - Ice-Cold Beer Ring, Mudflap-Girl Ring and Ring of the Sewer Snake for an extra +40 cold, sleaze and stench to get a total of +10 hot, +50 cold, +70 stench, +10 spooky and +50 sleaze. The ingot dropped. This probably needs more spading, but I can't fight any more seals today. --Uncle edna 09:24, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
