Talk:Disco Blindness

From A KoL Wiki

Someone take a look at the notes for this page, do you see something repetitive? I'd delete it but I'd rather have someone agree first. --Mrsealclubber 00:41, 21 February 2007 (CST)

Disco Blindness - Dance of Doom

You follow up your dancing with a swift poke to your opponent's eye, dealing 3 damage. It reels.

It pauses to rub its eye.

I'm seeing the same thing. When I run the combo, I'm getting 3-6 damage on the final eye-poke. This happens with all three blindness combos. --JoetheRat 12:03, 1 March 2007 (CST)

Dance of doom -> Eye Poke doesn't do anything for me anymore. The monster doesn't pause to rub his eye. Can somebody confirm?

Confirmed. --Geenius 06:26, 7 July 2007 (CDT)

I've noticed something a little different. Occasionally it will still pause to rub its eye, but I always get the message "You follow up your dancing with a swift poke to your opponent's eye, dealing X damage. It reels." I'm not sure what causes it to rub its eye or not, but it's definitely not 100%. --Jaolen 21:12, 22 July 2007 (CDT)

I just did Disco Blindness ten times using Disco Dance of Doom. Either the "he pauses to rub his eyes message" occurs only rarely, or I had bad luck, as I only got the message once.--Olaf the Hungry 18:35, 3 May 2008 (CDT)

Has This Been Changed Dramatically?

I've been trying to ascertain a few things about this skill, and I think it's been changed.

  • Doom-Eye Poke appears to stun for one round some percentage of the time.
  • Doom II-Eye Poke appears to only stun for one round.
  • Doom II-Doom-Eye Poke appears to stun for two rounds.

Can others confirm this? --Foggy 18:56, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

With my level 8 Disco Bandit against a eXtreme Orcish Snowboarder, Doom II > Eye Poke seemed to stun for THREE rounds. The enemy had no action on the turn the combo finished, then rubbed their eye the following two turns. Died the turn after. If this happens again, I'll note it. --Goluxas 02:38, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

It happened again. This time against a Probability Giant. And again, against a Procrastination Giant. I think this has either been changed, or I'm counting wrong. To reitirate: Doom II > Eye Poke. On turn of Eye Poke, no enemy action. Turn after, rubs eye. Turn after that, rubs eye. Turn after that, normal combat. Is that three rounds of stun or two? --Goluxas 18:54, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
