Multiple Custom Titles

Is it possible to have more than one title, and change between titles? For example. I have a title. and someone gives me a title. will it just replace my title or will it add it to a list i can choose from? --Warjunkie 20:41, 22 February 2008 (CST)

  • Yep. Same as custom avatars, you can choose between different titles. --TechSmurf 20:51, 22 February 2008 (CST)

Cool. I think I need this. --Akatosh 03:58, 23 February 2008 (CST)

No-delete status? --Wavedash 08:00, 23 February 2008 (CST)

Will the 2 for 1 deal last forever?--Eniteris 10:29, 23 February 2008 (CST)

Given that it's been nearly 3 years since you asked and it's still going, the answer is probably yes. --billybobfred 20:36, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Not References

  • "Fly-By-Knight" is a reference to the Album Fly By Night by Rush.
  • Fly by knight is a play on Fly by Night, not Rush. There is no other refernce to imply it is Rush, and Fly by Night is a colloquialism that has been around for ages. Rush was making a play on the phrase with their album name. Sign your posts!--Kingmob 13:09, 24 February 2008 (CST)

  • Anyone else familiar with those "Family History" sites that offer to find your family's historical roots, title, and coat of arms, and identifies any famous or notable ancestors you may (or more probably, may not) have had? I haven't gotten one of those emails in forever or I'd provide some of their generic fill-in-the-blank text. It really seems that this form was derived from one of those "scams." Right up there with the "Name a star" deal. --Rayi 18:09, 23 February 2008 (CST)

Acceptable characters?

  • My name and familiars don't accept foreign characters (My 'brero is named senority instead of señority) and my name is better spelled Tannenzäpfle. If anybody knows if ASCII characters are allowed like öäüñéè etc. are allowed and feels like getting one or dropping 2m meat on a whim, I'd be interested in knowing. -Tannenzaepfle 20:50, 25 February 2008 (CST)
    • The game in general doesn't allow special characters. I don't know if this'll work for the custom titles, but I've been able to "defeat" the mall search by using HTML entities. For example, I can search for "retenez l'herbe paté" by typing "retenez l'herbe paté". --Bagatelle 21:25, 25 February 2008 (CST)
      • This does not work in general, sometimes your escape sequence will itself be escaped (e.g. é -> é). This certainly occurs in messages and chat, my guess is that anything which ends up being displayed to other users will be escaped, whereas things to be interpreted only by the server (mall search etc.) will just be urlencoded. Areas where this trick wouldn't work would then include clan names and custom titles. I haven't actually tested this, but these are my thoughts. --JiK4eva 06:28, 1 March 2008 (CST)
