Trophy

  • Wear all eleven hats at once? or is that inevitable? do you have to wear the hats? --Evilkolbot (talk) 09:55, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
    • It's an option. Personally, though, I don't use the Imposing Pilgrim Hat at all (except for the trophy run) -- an unremovable -20 ML is kinda awful. --BaronessRatsworth (talk) 14:11, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
      • i found the-20 ML almost useful. getting to level 11 turn one with mmm-brrr, shinies and wishes leaves you rather over-powered. slowing levelling is a blessing... almost. --Evilkolbot (talk) 14:06, 15 June 2025 (UTC)

Sea

  • is the reason we cannot go into the sea due to being overpowered or is there something at play with not being able to trade/enhance certain helmets into new hats to complete quests? I kind of doubt it would be due to wearing both enhanced helmets to attempt to access two of the locations considering wearing the base helmet won't let you in and those areas in question require outfits and you can still only wear one of those outfits at a time.--Sonofjohn (talk) 01:39, 30 May 2025 (UTC) Addenum: Thank you for the response, Evilkolbot
    • the sea is off-limits in challenge paths because it has a lot of special mechanics. rather than have to think of every game-breaking shenanigan and extend play-testing inordinately, they just shut it off. it's the same reasoning as standard. too much to think of in a stupid (and stupidly) complicated game. --Evilkolbot (talk) 12:00, 31 May 2025 (UTC)

multiple outfits

Equipped Meteor Masquerade and Bugbear Costume successfully. Tried first equipping Bugbear then Meteor to go to the Bugbear Bakery and I got in. Same was true when I equipped the outfits in the other order. It should be noted that I did have trouble equipping Meteor Masquerade in general at first as it did not auto equip the hat. Then randomly twice it unequipped my weapon and offhand. The first time it had a message on the world map but I didn't notice it fast enough to record it nor read the message (this was before I even tried putting on the Bugbear Costume). The first time I tried MM then BB to the Bakery I had the MM avatar and then clicking to the bakery it switched to the Bugbear costume, where upon checking I had been my weapon and offhand unequipped again. Trying it a second time I was able to enter the bakery even though I had the MM avatar. --Sonofjohn (talk) 01:57, 30 May 2025 (UTC)

Possible Bug

Seeing action of weird things occurring with HP/MP regen, including current values changing if logging off after adventuring with regen. The hypothesis is that some hats are not worn post adventure or only worn during adventure, hence the strange occurrences. Leaving this here for now to see if anyone else reports having the issue or I get verification of an actual bug. Issue occurs even during nonadventures or even from just logging out and logging back in after regen (even using restorative skills, abilities items, etc), so we know it is not something obvious like auto attacking with a spell. To my knowledge there is not equipment that makes you lose HP/MP this way (I know that there are ones that will decrease your max HP/MP, but not damage/sap you) and it is not from a shown effect on the player's effect list.--Sonofjohn (talk) 20:31, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
