Just got 150 moxie substat while looking into the mirror at the "Having a Medicine Ball" adventure. I'm a level 15 DB, with a base moxie of 204.
You look in the mirror and grin at yourself as you fix your hair. Lookin' good, man! Lookin' real good! You gain 150 Sarcasm.

I'd like some independent verification on the stat gains without a hand mirror; I only get the listed Moxie substats when it's a Moxie day. Is it the fact that I'm 9th level, is the data off, or what? --Dornbeast 10:40, 25 December 2006 (CST)
I just got 43 moxie from gazing into the mirror, so saying it's from 70-150 is a bit off. I'm changing it to 43-150, though it could almost certainly be even lower still. I'm a level 7 AT with 51 base moxie, 97 mod. --Oddfellow 17:27, 30 December 2006 (CST)
I tried this while having the antique hand mirror seven times, and got these results: 200, 198, 194, 200, 199, 200, 200. I leveled from 13 to 14 in between the fifth and sixth trials, so I'm guessing it doesn't scale with level. --TellKenzine 19:53, 13 January 2007 (CST)

Looks like a tower boss to me, when he does appear. When I tried it nothing happened. However, he's probably not an ultra-rare, since he didn't drop a consolidation ribbon...
Anyone have an idea of what items might/might not work on him?

This sounds like the Candyman. As such, I'd assume there's some sort of hint in one of the associated movies - either that or some bizarre connections like [Spoiler] using a disease on the Tower's Easel. Hum. Maybe it's some sort of candy, since he "is" the Candyman?

I just defeated The Guy Made Of Bees, and wanted to note a few things:
- First off, my substat gains: 169 Beefiness, 87 Enchantedness, 83 Roguishness (lev 11 TT, w/35# HS; not a stats day)
- Also, it says "You acquire an effect: Bad Luck (duration: 7 Adventures) but when I look at the character pane it says Bad Luck (6).
- I had turned off auto-attack, but I'm wondering if that would turn off on its own anyway? --John. 15:26, 30 January 2007 (CST)

Am I the only one who sees a reference between The Guy Made Of Bees and Bloody Mary? The Guy Made Of Bees appears after you say his name 5 times into a mirror, and Bloody Mary supposedly appears if you say her name into a mirror three times at midnight. --Yammsy 00:36, 23 October 2007 (CDT)
- Yes: The Guy Made Of Bees references the candyman movies, not bloody mary. see the actual article on the monster for details. Gazing Deeply Substat Gains
